The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. If you aren’t already logged in, these links will take you to the CLI Engage login screen then direct you straight to TPRI or Tejas LEE.The electronic translation service is hosted by Google Translate. TPRI for 1st Grade TPRI for 2nd Grade Tejas LEE for 1st Grade Tejas LEE for 2nd Grade Find out if you are eligible here, and then follow instructions after clicking Sign Up at the top right. TPRI and Tejas LEE both require eligibility. Printable scoresheets or references to support the assessment are available online: There are many additional tools available, including resources to help teachers analyze data, assist in helping determine students for intervention, and group students for differentiated instruction. Information derived from the TPRI and Tejas LEE will assist teachers in planning targeted instruction for their students. Teachers can administer portions of the inventory with students who score Still Developing (SD) on the Screening Section. This additional information can assist teachers and administrators as they assemble educational resources and plan the most effective instruction possible for students. The Inventory Section allows teachers to acquire more data to help match reading instruction with specific student needs. Note: Tejas LEE does not have a screening section. The Screening section for TPRI is included in first grade at Beginning and End of Year, and in second grade just at Beginning of Year. TPRI has a separate Screening Section and Inventory Section. The Screening Section also allows teachers to quickly gather information on students who are Still Developing (SD) important reading concepts in certain areas and would benefit from additional instruction. Its primary purpose is to predict for teachers which of their students may need additional or intensive reading instruction in order to meet their grade level goals. The Screening Section is a brief assessment for identification of students who may be at risk for reading difficulties. With sufficient time, teachers may assess any tasks for a more comprehensive view of students’ skill proficiency. Following the Branching Rules is essential to ensure students are not over or under tested, and that assessment time is spent on tasks that will be most helpful in planning effective instruction for each student. The 1st and 2nd grade Branching Rules that guide you through the Screening and Inventory Sections attempt to lead students to tasks that will provide the most relevant information about specific instructional needs.
